XF-911 acid Mist Inhibitor & Corrosion
Mitigator is the newest acid mist inhibitor and corrosion
mitigator for
noble metallic hydro chloride developed by the design
institute of our company . 911 is able to reduce effectively
the acid mist product from Pickling ,and speed up the
pickling process by 20-30%,with a reduction on the acid
consumption by about 30%. So far, 911 has been licensed
for national invention patent (patent No.93103919.3),
and is widely used in steel pipe production, galvanizing
process, automobile industry . It has been proven to

"911"Development & Working Mechanism:
For a pickling enterprise , the main task for pickling
procedure is to remove the rust or oxide skin from the surface
of the iron & steel work piece , so as to expose the
ferrite part of the work piece for the processing in next
procedure . The main reaction is as follows:

We can see from the above reactions that during the removal
of oxide skin, in company with the reaction of ferrite dissolved
in acid, H2 is discharged and forms the acid mist , which
causes large quantity of acid wasted, and brings about severe
pollution in the environment.911uses noble metal chloride
and lanthan metal chloride as electro-load transfer agent
so that during pickling H2 ion is all the time
kept away from electron , thus fails to convert to H2
atom that generates H2 molecule bubble causing
acid mist to overflow. Therefore add 911 into the pickling
tank will completely overcome the hazard from acid mist,
and also save acid and steel consumption, so that severe
pollution in the environment will be totally averted.

by our company specifically for pickling process . Upon
test , under 50

process
condition , when adding 0.5%911 into the pickling tank ,the
acid mist overflowing from the pickling tank can reduce
about 85% pickling rate increasing by 20-30%, acid is saved
by 30%. Steel consumption reduced by 60%. Pickling quality
for workpiece greatly enhanced. Most obviously is that ferrite
crystalline on the surface of the work piece whitens up,
and the black carbon silt on the surface of workpiece because
of previous pickling diminishes, so that the solidity for
galvanizing layer and painting layer of the workpiece improves
remarkably. After its use in pickling procedure in steel
mill , according to production statement statistics, for
one ton of steel material pickled, eight to ten kgs of acid
can be saved, with consideration to the factors of power
saving and energy saving, for each ton of steel pickled,
10-20Yuan cost can be saved for high efficiency and spending
reduction. Besides, with the use of 911 product, workshop
environment gets better, acid mist inside greatly minimized,
contributing to the prolonged maintenance cycle for equipment
and plant building.
